About Me

I set up NeuroFlex Physio because people living with stroke, Parkinson’s, MS and other neurological conditions deserve more time and more continuity than a stretched caseload usually allows.

Seeing someone in their own home, on their actual stairs, in their actual kitchen, means a rehabilitation plan built around real life.

My background

I am HCPC registered specialist neurological physiotherapist with over 20 years’ experience across NHS and private settings.

Over that time I have managed complex neurological caseloads independently- stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Huntington’s disease, and head and spinal cord injuries- working closely within multidisciplinary teams, and supervising and training junior physiotherapists and students as a practice educator.

My approach

My approach is evidence-based and outcome-led. I use standardised assessment tools to track what is actually changing, not just how someone feels on the day.

I am trained in the Bobath Concept for neurological rehabilitation and have hands-on experience with advanced rehabilitation technology, including robotic-assisted gait training. I am also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP), and use evidence-based acupuncture for neurological conditions and pain management.

Why home visits

Assessing and treating someone in their own home means I can see exactly how they manage their stairs, transfers, kitchen and garden, and build a plan around that. It also removes the difficulty and risk of travel for people who find it hardest to get out of the house.
